[vc_row 0=””][vc_column][vc_column_text 0=””]Hi, I’m Tami Shidawara-Vazquez, owner of Restoration Illumination. I create shabby chic and farmhouse decor for your home and events. I’m a California native, a mom of two young boys, I enjoy doing anything artsy and I love Jesus.   I also love to paint, create themed cakes, calligraphy, and repurpose junk.  I’m especially interested in antique wood furniture and rusty junk.  I want to help keep things out of landfills for my kids future by turning trash into treasure and repurposing things that people no longer want or need.

When a piece of furniture is damaged it is often kicked to the curb. I like to find things that people are ready to trash. What some people see as broken, I see as potentiaI that I can repurpose into something new and fabulous.

My styles are mostly Farmhouse, Shabby Chic and French Cottage,  Other styles I love are Industrial, Beach Cottage and Funky Junk.

One of my favorite things about my work is that my boys are involved and we can spend quality time bonding while encouraging their creativity and self esteem.  My boys can often be found distressing pieces, designing funky junk, painting and picking at flea markets and estate sales.
